A new optional Refer to Role(s) field has been added, allowing users to select Deputy Head of Year and/or Head of Year to receive the alert. When a role is selected, all staff members assigned to that role will receive the alert. Please note, this field is not selected by default.
Tip: We recommend reviewing the staff members assigned as Deputy Head of Year in Groups > Year Groups under Associated Staff in the Group details page to ensure the relevant people are set up.
Note: Alert Recipients has been relabelled to Refer to Member of Staff in this release.
Following this release, a display issue has been identified on the Safeguarding Alert Configuration screen.
Staff and role-based recipients may appear to be missing from the configuration view.
However, configurations are still correctly stored in the system and alerts will function as expected.
Do not re-save or modify the configuration if staff appear missing — this is only a visual display issue.
If you have already re-added staff since the release, please contact Support for further assistance.
A fix is scheduled for the evening of 17th April, which will correct the display issue and ensure all configured users appear as expected.
