Dinner - Dinner Balance Widget
Overview Dashboard > Dinner Balance Widget
The option for Staff to book their own Dinners has been added to the Dinner Balance Widget.
Note: The Dinner Balance Widget will have to be selected in the Settings option, top right of the Overview Dashboard for it to be displayed.
Staff can select which Dinner they whish to Book on which Day and pay for them. They can also see their Dinner Charges and Payments.
Config > Dinner > Configurations
An additional section, Staff Dinner Options has been added to Configurations, allowing you to enable the option for Staff to select Dinners via the Dinner Balance Dashboard Widget, to NOT go into a Negative Balance, to Create a cut-off time after which staff can no longer make selections or changes and Set how far in advance Staff can make menu selections, this can be a number of Days, a Specific Day or a Specific Date.
Note: Selecting the Set a specific date option or the Day of the week, will not allow the member of Staff to select a Meal or make a change on or after that Date or Day.
Config > Setup > Roles and Permissions
The Widget will have to be enabled from the Profile module for the appropriate Roles.
Config > Dinner > Dinner Menus
The option for Staff to be able to select from Menus via the Dinner Balance Widget, must also be enabled. To do this click on a Dinner Menu, which will open the Menu Details page. Tick the Enable staff to select dinners via the Dinner Balance Dashboard Widget option. This will now display the Assign Staff Meal Definition dropdown list for a selection to be made, this is a Mandatory selection.
Note: This will have to be done for each Menu you will be making available for Staff.
