What's new on Bromcom

Bromcom AI Settings is a new Config Setup page where administrators can set up Bromcom AI access to relevant roles.

Note: A future release will see Bromcom AI access for Trusts managed through Vision Central Management.

The new page opens with the following default settings switched on:

• Enable Bromcom AI - Main setting that enables / disables access to Bromcom AI in the MIS.
• Allow users to access Bromcom AI Assistant - Enables the use of the sub options below.
• Enable Bromcom AI to access public information, using OpenAI - Allows Bromcom AI to use Chat GPT from OpenAI to access public information from the internet in its responses.
• Enable Bromcom AI to access school MIS data - This option allows Bromcom AI to use data from the school MIS, including basic details like student names, as well as more advanced information like attendance and behaviour. Coming soon.

Administrators can switch on these further options if they wish:

• Allow users to access Bromcom AI workflow - Enables the use of the sub options below:
• Enable for Quick Letter - This option allows Bromcom AI to access Chat GPT from OpenAI to help users to generate content for their letters.
• Enable for Send SMS/Email - This option allows Bromcom AI to access Chat GPT from OpenAI to help users to generate content for SMS/Email communications.
• Enable for Learning Resources - This options allows Bromcom AI to access data from the learning resources on the internet to help users to generate content for quizzes, lesson plans, or homework. Coming soon.

Note: Bromcom AI access will no longer be maintained in Config > Setup > Roles and Permissions.
