Administration - SCR Management: New Drill Down Functionality

Modules > Administration > HR & Performance Management > SCR Management

The Single Central Record (SCR) is now interactive, allowing users to drill down and filter staff records by Staff Type and SCR Data Checks.

Initial View - All Staff

  • The SCR now opens with the Overview panel displayed for All Staff.
  • The Single Central Record panel is hidden by default and appears once a selection is made.

Filtering Options

Users can drill down through the hierarchy and make selections in the following order:
  1. Staff Type.
  2. SCR Data Checks by Staff Type.


1. Staff Type

When a Staff Type is selected e.g. Support Staff:
  • The Overview panel updates to show information for the selected Staff Type.
  • The Single Central Record panel displays the corresponding staff records.
You can refine the results further by selecting headline figure tiles in the Overview panel. E.g. No Issues (green), Incomplete Records (red).

2. SCR Data Checks:

After selecting a Staff Type and choosing an SCR Data Check badge e.g. Teaching Staff > Incomplete Records for Staff:
  • The Single Central Record panel displays the corresponding staff records e.g. Incomplete Records for Teaching Staff.
  • The Overview panel highlights the cell that is selected in the SCR in red e.g. Incomplete Record for Staff.

Tips:

  • You can maximise the staff record view by toggling Show Overview to hide the Overview panel.
  • Select the grey Total Staff tile (e.g. Total Teaching Staff) to display all staff within that Staff Type.
  • Select All Staff from the dropdown to return to the Initial View.

Staff Details

Additionally, you can click a staff member’s initials, name, or Staff Code in the Personal Information > Profile column to open their staff details in a new tab. After making changes, return to the SCR and refresh the page to see the updated information.

Note: The Agency/Supply Staff option has been removed from the SCR for schools in England. Any agency or supply staff will now be categorised based on the Post (SWF) selected in their Contract panel.

The available Post (SWF) options and their corresponding Staff Types are listed below:
  • Teaching Staff: Advisory Teacher, Apprentice Teacher, Assistant Head, Classroom Teacher, Classroom Teacher (Main Pay Range), Classroom Teacher (Upper Pay Range), Deputy Head, Executive Head Teacher, Head Teacher, Leading Practitioner.
  • Support Staff: Leadership - Non Teacher, School Business Professional, Teaching Assistant.
  • Other Staff: Other Support Staff (includes Volunteers)
