Improvements have been made to the Budget Variances page to help schools analyse budgets more accurately and work in a way that matches their preferred finance practices.

New Centrally Invoiced column (School Finance)

A new column has been added to the Budget Variances report to support more accurate budget monitoring:

• Central Inv’d (£) column is now available.

• Displays centrally invoiced actuals alongside existing budget and actual figures.

• Included in row calculations and totals.

• Enabled by default and saved with grid preferences.

This allows schools to clearly see centrally invoiced values when reviewing and reporting on budgets.

Income toggle

To support different budgeting preferences, you can now control how Income (IN Ledger Types) are displayed:

• When ON (default) income is displayed as positive values (current behaviour).

• When OFF i

  ncome is displayed as negative values, aligning with FMS-style reporting.

• This toggle affects totals, variances and percentages, ensuring figures remain accurate whichever view you choose.
• Clicking save will ensure your selection is retained for future use.
