Seating Plan: Student Tile and Canvas Enhancements

Default Seating Plans have been introduced, student tiles have been enhanced to make key information clearer and new functionality has been added to the Seating Plan canvas.
Default Seating Plan
If a class or tutor group has only one seating plan, that plan will now open automatically when Seating Plan is launched from the Teacher Dashboard.
Student Tile
Profile photos are now shown in the top left. Hover to enlarge.
Behaviour points have been added to the tile and can be found in the top right.
- The number at the top shows the current day's overall total - this will be green if it's positive or red if it's negative.
- Below it on the left are negative points shown in red.
- Below it on the right are positive points shown in green.
The blue Document icon now appears to the right of the student name if a document exists.
- A birthday icon now appears on a student’s tile on the day of their birthday only.
- Student tiles now support names of up to 20 characters.
- When a student is selected, the entire tile is now highlighted in yellow, making it easier to see which student is currently selected. This replaces the blue tick icon that would appear in the top right of the tile.
- UDF (User-Defined Flag) icons have been enhanced and the maximum number shown has increased to 10. Priority is currently based on creation date but in future this will be customisable.
Behaviour points, UDFs, birthday icons and document icons are hidden in Projector Mode. Profile photos and names are larger and clearer in Projector Mode.
Canvas Enhancement
- The following buttons have been added to the top-right of the Seating Plan when it is in Full Screen Mode:
- Toggle Student Information.
- Add/Remove Students.
- Remove all students.
- Save Seating Plan with Students.
- Select Random Student.
- Tables in seating layouts can now expand to up to 15 seats (previously 5).
Select Random Student has been improved so that it is randomised each time you use it and will not repeat the previous random allocation.
