Student Portal - Homework

The option for Messages to be sent via Teacher to Student and Student to Teacher have been added, allowing Students to ask questions and the Teacher to reply or add additional information for the Homework including any additional Attachments. A Message received by the Teacher will display a Speech Bubble icon and a Message received by the Student will display a Red dot in the View/Submit column and the number of Messages received in a Red Circle next to Homework in the Menu on the left.
Note: The option will have to be enabled in the Student Portal Configurations to be visible.
The Messaging option is also available in both the Teacher and Student Portal Apps.

The Enable messaging functionality on homework tasks option needs to be selected for the option to be visible.
