Vision - Power BI: Ability to Drill through in MAT Vision Analytics Packs
1. MAT Vision Analytics Pack
The Drill through feature has been reintroduced to the following MAT Vision Analytics App reports:
- Attendance
- EYF Stage Assessment
- Formative Assessment
- KS1 & KS2 Stage Assessment
- KS4 Performance
- MAT Performance Overview
- Primary Tracker KS1 & KS2
- Primary Tracker KS1 & KS2 (last year)
- Staff Dashboard
- Suspensions & Permanent Exclusions
Student and staff personal information will be visible in drill-through reports if the user’s role in Vision > Admin > Roles includes access to Student Personal ID or Staff Personal ID within Vision’s data drill-tier permissions.
Note: If the user does not have access to Student or Staff Personal ID, student and staff information will remain anonymous in the drill-through reports.
In the Attendance report, for example, users will left-click on a school and select the new option Drill through. They will then choose which of the available Attendance reports they would like to drill through. After making a selection, the corresponding Drill-through report will open in a new tab.
In the newly opened tab, the Drill through report will display Student information for users who have the correct access permissions.
Student information will be hidden for users who do not have the correct access permissions.
2. MAT Vision Analytics Pack (SQL)
Drill-through functionality is now also re-enabled in the app for all reports.
A new setting has been added under Vision > Admin > Power BI Configuration, allowing administrators to control whether student and staff personal information should be visible or anonymised in drill-through reports.
Important: You will need to contact your Bromcom Administrator to make this new configuration button visible.
Note: By default, this setting is set to "NO," meaning that student and staff personal information will not be displayed in drill-through reports.
